1. Introduction

Welcome to Job Udaan (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Job Udaan Candidate Portal, mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Purpose of Our Services

Job Udaan is designed to help candidates discover, apply for, and manage job opportunities, while employers can post jobs and process applications.

3. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Notice

If any dispute arises relating to these Terms or your use of the Services, you agree to resolve the matter through good-faith discussions, and where permitted by law, through binding arbitration as an alternative to court proceedings. 4. Your Responsibilities When Using Our Services

  • Comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy at all times.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information in your profile and applications.
  • Respect the rights of others and refrain from abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
  • Follow any feature-specific guidelines presented within the Services.

5. Use of Integrated Third-Party Services

If you connect our Services with external platforms (such as Google sign-in), you must also comply with their terms and policies.

6. Eligibility to Use Our Services

6.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to create a candidate account and use the Candidate Portal.

6.2 Enforcement of Eligibility

If we become aware that a user does not meet eligibility requirements or has provided false information, we may suspend or terminate access and remove related data in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Ownership

All content, software, features, and technology within the Services are protected by intellectual property laws and owned by Job Udaan and its licensors.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7.3 Restrictions on Use

Without our written consent, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise misuse the Services or our intellectual property.

8. Candidate Content and Information

8.1 Information You Provide

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide, including your profile, resume/CV, screening answers, and messages.

8.2 Information About Others

If you provide information about others (e.g., references), you confirm you have the legal right and necessary permissions to share it.

8.3 Prohibited Conduct

Do not engage in harassment, hate speech, spam, scams, data scraping, or attempts to circumvent security controls.

8.4 License You Grant to Us

To operate and improve the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display content you submit as needed to provide the Services.

8.5 Monitoring and Disclaimer of Liability

We may monitor content for safety and quality but are not obligated to do so. You may encounter content from others that is inaccurate or objectionable; you assume the associated risks.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

We are not responsible for third-party websites, applications, or services we do not control. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and those parties. Review their terms and privacy policies before engaging with them.

10. Access and Use of Our Services

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or as necessary to protect users or the platform. Upon termination, your license ends and we may disable your account and associated data subject to legal obligations.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that information will be complete or accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Job Udaan and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, loss of profits, data loss, or other losses arising from your use of the Services.

11.3 Your Sole Remedy

If you are dissatisfied with the Services or these Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue use and uninstall the app.

12. How Our Services Operate

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Job listings, employer information, and other content may not always be accurate or current; availability of roles is determined by employers.

13. Legal Terms and Miscellaneous

13.1 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Delhi, India, unless your local consumer protection laws provide otherwise. Courts in New Delhi, India, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to applicable law.

13.2 Assignment

We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.

13.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Job Udaan and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims and losses arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

14. Advertisements

The Services may display advertisements. If you interact with ads, you may be redirected to third-party offers or websites. We are not responsible for third-party advertisements or outcomes from engaging with them.

15. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our practices, Services, or legal requirements. We will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
